Funker Vogt invades Champaign next Monday!

IDG Productions is proud to welcome Funker Vogt -- one of Germany's foremost aggrotech bands -- to Champaign for an exclusive midwest show on their "March On 2009" tour!

In addition, Critical System Error and Fragmentation, two up-and-coming industrial acts out of Chicago, will be opening for Funker Vogt. Also look forward to DJ Noir spinning all of your hard-hitting industrial, electro, and EBM club favourites before and after the show alongside his popular gogo-dancer troupe, The Noir Dolls.

Jagermeister will also be serving up free shots and there will be half-priced bottles of A:M at the bar.

I’m proud to announce that Nekromancy IDG will finally be making a comeback at Chester Street Dance Club on Monday, January 14 – featuring a non-stop mix of the latest and the greatest coldwave, EBM, oldskool industrial, electroclash, and synthpop music and videos spun by resident DJ SorceryKid and special guests DJ DeadGuy and DJ Halon.

Also look forward to performances by guest DJs and touring bands on a monthly basis as well as theme nights, fashion shows, and other exciting events to be announced throughout the year. I'm currently in the process of booking a number of live acts for this spring. And the much anticipated DJ Martin Atkins of Pigface fame has already been lined up for March!

Hotel in the city

OPi8.com, if you haven't heard of it, is a promotion site for artists offering exclusive web comics, stories, artist interviews, reviews, editorial columns, and soon to be music and sound sculptures. If it's dark, depraved, disturbing, viceral, violent, or raunchy it's place is on this site.

Early in 2003 OPi8.com experienced a serious dry spell that is only recently being lifted. The site is in the midst of an overhaul, but new comics, art, and/or articles are put up every week.

Jump over there, take a look. There's bound to be something there you like. You might want to see your own work up there. Hell, you might already have something on there.
